Downloading an image from the web

To download an image from the web:

A. if you are using Windows:
1. With the cursor placed on top of the image, right-click.
2. This produces a floating menu, from which you choose "Save Picture as."
3. On the resulting dialogue box, fill in the location (i.e. the folder) and the filename you wish to use.
4. Save the image as a .jpg.

B. if you are using a Mac OSX:
1. With the cursor placed on top of the image, hold and press the CONTROL key, and click your mouse.
2. Select "Download image to disk."
3. Give the new image file a name in the "File Name" box which is on your "Save as" screen.
4. Choose .jpg as the file extension, and save.

OR

C. For Mac and Windows XP/Vista:
1. Click on the image, and drag-and-drop it onto your desktop.
